Whether it’s the Jagastub’n à-la-carte restaurant – awarded 2 forks and 87 points by the Falstaff restaurant guide – the hotel restaurant or the wine cellar, the Grossarler Hof’s cuisine always focuses on home-grown suppliers and partners from the Pongau gourmet region. Accompanied by top Austrian wines, rare Bordeaux and more, numerous events such as Ski & Wine, the Harvest Festival and Meet the Winegrowers & SPA Time celebrate nature and culture throughout the year.


Viniculture
Sommelier Markus Andexer’s specialities are Austrian viniculture, rare wines and large bottle sizes. First-class organic wines and rarities from Bordeaux complement the hotel’s excellent range. Weekly wine tastings include superb samples from established growers as well as up-and-coming young winemakers. This promotes long-term marketing and boosts the region’s profile.
Edelweiss & Alder
The spa concept at the Grossarler Hof has a strong association with nature and tradition. Its motto is Rest, relaxation, and a little piece of home in the Valley of Alpine Meadows. The area’s alder forests give the spa its name and inspire its generous interiors. Beauty treatments, massages, body treatments and wraps with luxurious skincare products based on the secrets of the edelweiss, other Alpine plants and minerals add harmony and effectively enhance guests’ wellness.
