Top Tyrol – the Taste

Awarded 2 Michelin stars, the Restaurant Simon Taxacher is Tyrol’s first and only restaurant to make it into the ‘red guide’. It is also one of very few Austrian members of the Les Grandes Tables du Monde association, which represents just 188 restaurants worldwide and is considered the who’s who of international gastronomy.

The multi-award-winning Restaurant Simon Taxacher is positioned as a culinary hotspot in the Kitzbühel Alps. Following extensive renovations, the Hotel Restaurant Spa Rosengarten’s concept will be setting new standards of hospitality and cuisine.

Stylish & Unembellished

The flavours created by Tyrol’s Grand Chef are as understated and pure as the restaurant’s design and furnishings. His combinations of textures and aromas are clean, authentic and in perfect harmony. Simon Taxacher always goes the extra mile for flavour and is utterly uncompromising when it comes to the quality and choice of products, the precision of his workmanship and his search for the highest level of innovation. He is the consummate artist who respects his craft while giving his imagination free rein.

The marketing and positioning strategy adopted by marketing deluxe follows similar principles. Straightforward, authentic and precisely positioned, the Simon Taxacher brand is now established on the international gourmet scene and enjoys the highest reputation.

‘Only by reinventing yourself day after day can you remain faithful to yourself.’

Simon Taxacher – a Success Story

Simon Taxacher began his career by studying at the Villa Blanka Catering College in Innsbruck. He then worked in the kitchens of renowned chefs at home and abroad, gaining his first experiences in the rarefied world of haute cuisine. In 2000, he returned to Kirchberg where he joined the family business and, within a year, had opened the Restaurant Rosengarten. In 2009, when he was just 33 years old, Simon Taxacher’s gourmet restaurant was awarded two Michelin stars.

By December 2010, he and his partner Sandra Kobald had opened the Hotel Restaurant Spa Rosengarten, thereby fulfilling his vision of consummate hospitality. This vision went on to reap many international awards. The hotel’s spa area was enlarged in 2017 and the hotel was awarded its 5-star rating in 2018. In 2020 came the crowning glory: 5 Gault&Millau toques. There is great excitement about the innovations and awards that will follow in the wake of his already extraordinary success.
